Overview
Elementree Records, Korn's self-made
record label is reaking havok in the music
industry. The band first signed was Orgy; their
cover of the song 'Blue Monday' by the new-wave
'80s band "New Order" has taken the
country by storm. After touring with Korn, Limp
Bizkit and a few other headliners, Orgy had fame,
and lots of it. Girls seem to love Jay, Amir,
Paige, Bobby and Ryan; and the five guys of Orgy,
with their faces plastered with make-up and funky
futuristic clothes, seem to love them too. Their
debut album called Candyass has done surprizingly
well and the video to 'Blue Monday'. Along with Orgy came
Videodrone. The feeling of the music is alot like
Korn, although the sound is different from
anything around today. Known before as Cradle Of
Thorns, the 5 boys of Videodrone had known Korn
forever before they were signed. With the help of
Jon Davis and Fred Durst of Limp Bizkit on vocals
and Head of Korn on guitar, Videodrone put out
their debut album. It was released a few days
before they were set to go on tour with Korn and
Rob Zombie for the biggest tour of '99, Rock Is
Dead.
